Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority to host Importance of Rail for the South-East and East of England Summit

Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority aims to to bring together the rail industry, business leaders and politicians to discuss how rail improvements in the region.

Chaired by Norman Baker, the summit will be a unique opportunity for rail industry, business and politicians to discuss how rail improvement in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough can unlock good growth for the South-East, East of England and beyond.

One of the key focuses of the summit will be the need to press ahead with the Ely Area Capacity Enhancements. We will be building on the discussion in Parliament yesterday following the publication of a new report into Ely junction by England's Economic Heartland and Transport East.
