The advisory programme is the idea of Jeremy Cole, owner of Cantab Lettings, and is in keeping with his commitment to improve the lettings experience that all too often leaves landlords and tenants alike at the mercy of agency indifference, poor communication and anxious delays.
The first session is taking place in Cambridge on Thursday, 24th January in conjunction with IFA’s Moneywise. The aim of the event is to provide a forum where landlords can ask questions without feeling foolish and be reassured that their inexperience is accepted for what it is. By sharing his own knowledge of being a landlord for 14 years, Jeremy Cole is looking to offer guidance and factual evidence on how landlords can achieve best practice for the benefit of themselves and their tenants.
‘So many pitfalls can be avoided just by knowing from the outset how to go about things in the right way,’ comments Jeremy Cole. ‘This may seem an obvious thing to say, however it is true none the less. Knowing the right approach from the beginning, being aware of legal requirements, how the market works and how best to look after tenants are all subjects in which we have direct experience at Cantab Lettings, and it is an experience we are more than happy to share.’
The Moneywise premises are located at 5b Clifton Court, and the two-hour advisory session, led by Jeremy Cole, begins at 6.00pm on Thursday, 24th January. Refreshments will be served.
