CEOs of Doist, Know Your Team, and Grapeshot speak in Cambridge at BoS Conference Europe

Amir Salihefendić, Claire Lew, and John Snyder are among those speaking to 250 software entrepreneurs at the Business of Software Conference Europe in Cambridge this April.

On 11-12 April at Churchill College Cambridge, 250 software entrepreneurs will gather to learn how to scale their businesses while listening to experienced entrepreneurs who have been there and done it.

Founded by Neil Davidson, co-founder of Cambridge-based success story Redgate, Business of Software Conference has been running for 13 years with one mission in mind - to help software entrepreneurs to create successful, sustainable companies that people love to work for and that make products their customers love.

Business of Software Conference Europe is returning to its home town of Cambridge this April after three years in other European cities. Bursting with companies at the very forefront of technology, Cambridge is the natural home for Europe's premier conference for software scale-ups.

Speakers at Business of Software Conferences are always an impressive group, and this year is no different.

Amir Salihefendić was born in Bosnia, grew up in Denmark, started a business in Chile, and now lives in Barcelona. His company Doist is now over 10 years old and employs over 60 people in 25 different countries. Doist is a fully remote company, and have been ever since its foundation. Amir will be speaking at Business of Software Conference about how he has built an effective team across timezones, and what traditional companies can learn about collaboration and teams from remote companies.

Claire Lew is the CEO of Know Your Team, a software tool that helps managers become better leaders. Her mission is to make people happier at work, something she has done at AirBnB, Kickstarter, and across the globe in 25 countries. Over 15,000 people use their product and services. Claire is speaking at Business of Software Conference about 'The Accidental Bad Manager'. No one sets out to be a bad boss, but it's very easy to become one. Claire will be sharing the biggest, most counterintuitive mistakes that leaders unintentionally make, and what to do about them.

John Snyder was the CEO and Founder of Cambridge success story Grapeshot, until its exit to Oracle. Grapeshot was founded in Cambridge, but grew to have offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, New York, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Sydney. John will be speaking about how, despite entering new markets with a relatively limited supply of capital, Grapeshot saw sales grow and why much of the success was down to maintaining a clear company culture.

Business of Software Conference takes place on 11-12 April at Churchill College, Cambridge. You can save your place here.
