Members of Ely Chamber of Commerce have come together to produce the ‘Business Booster’ prize, contributing their products and services as part of the initiative that has been designed to showcase the variety of businesses operating in the city. The unique prize includes products and services designed to help develop new business opportunities, improve efficiency, save money and reward and retain key staff members.

Prizes are still being added to the ‘Business Booster’ collection which already includes a free one-hour marketing consultation to inspire new ideas and ways to reach your target market from Emerald Frog Marketing, lunch for two at Poets House from The HOUSE Collection, a £50 gift voucher for a Grey’s of Ely excursion, a £50 discount plus a free initial consultation with TaxAssist Accountants Ely, a Microsoft Office time-saving training session with JervisBrown Training and two hours of strategic consultancy from Bardwyck.

John Bridge OBE, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “Our members were keen to find a new and innovative way to use the event to reflect the range of business services and expertise that are offered by members of the Chamber network. It is great to see that so many local companies have come forward and contributed towards the prize, which I believe will provide great benefit to the winning company and is an excellent reflection of the companies that we are proud to represent as a Chamber.”

The Chamber will also be holding a free, interactive workshop during the morning that will help businesses identify areas for skills development to assist future growth. The ‘Grow Your Business Through People’ event will also help businesses of all sizes to find out what help, advice and training is available.
