Charles Cotton gives a free talk on the Cambridge Phenomenon

Charles Cotton will talk about the Cambridge Phenomenon at the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), Cambridge, this evening (Tuesday 30th October). This talk is free to attend and is open to the public. It is hosted by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

The Cambridge Phenomenon is the incredible explosion of technology, life sciences and service companies that has occurred in the city around the unviersity since 1960.

Charles Cotton has been involved in Cambridge technology companies since the days of Sinclair Research, and with Virata saw the first investment by Silicon Valley VCs in a UK company and a NASDAQ listing that peaked at over $5 billion. His newest venture, Cambridge Phenomenon Ltd, takes an entrepreneurial approach to celebrating and promoting the Cambridge technology cluster.

The meeting will be at the Institute for Manufacturing, Alan Reece Building, 17 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge CB3 0FS

Refreshments served from 18.30. Talk starts at 19.00. Ends by 21.00 following questions and discussion.
