Children of parents with acquired brain injury – can you help with research?

Would you like to help Headway Cambridgeshire find out more about how children cope when one of their parents has a brain injury?

Anglia Ruskin University: Department of Psychology Research Project

Currently, there is little research on this and the research project team would like to talk to families affected by brain injury to find out more.

The aim is that this research will eventually lead to developing more support and services for children and families in this situation.

The research involves interviews with parents, interviews with children and interviews with support workers.

The team is looking for families to participate in which one parent has a brain injury and at least one child is eight years old or over. They want to find out about your views and experiences, with parents and children interviewed both together and separately, in a supportive environment on Headway premises.

They would love your help and want to learn from your experiences.
