Conference looks at 'Combining Cambridge technologies for the future of healthcare'

'Combining Cambridge technologies for the future of healthcare' - a conference organised by Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, together with Cambridge University Health Partners (CUHP), Cambridge Wireless and the Centre for Science and Policy - will take place in Cambridge on Thursday 1st October 2015.

 

This event at the Cambridge City Hotel, Downing Street, Cambridge, was inspired by NHS England Chair, Professor Sir Malcolm Grant's speech 'The technological revolution in healthcare capturing the benefits for the NHS' and Sir Malcolm will be giving the keynote speech at the event.

The conference will explore the range of new medical technologies that will transform healthcare in the future. It will focus on areas of technological revolution that are likely to be transformational for healthcare both globally and within the NHS including:

  • Big Data
  • Stratified Medicine
  • Genomics
  •  Mobile Health
  • Nanotechnology

Attendees will include leading medical practitioners as well as representatives from some of the world's foremost technology firms. The conference will also provide an opportunity to discuss how using and combining healthcare technologies can help to meet the known and predicted needs of future patients.
