The Cambridge Culinary Competition is an annual event open to College Chefs and held at Cambridge Regional College. There are a number of categories including a Live Competition with six classes in which Chefs have to cook against the clock; a Salon Culinaire where participants have to prepare dishes ranging from canapés to afternoon tea for the critical eye of the judges; and a Front of House category with two categories: ‘Cook and Serve’ and ‘Cocktail Making and Napkin Folding’.
This year’s competition was judged by a highly experienced panel chaired by Mr Peter Griffiths MBE.
The celebratory theme continues at the University Centre’s Riverside Restaurant with the launch of its menus for the festive season with Christmas carvery lunches on offer Monday-Saturday, 11th-21st December for all sizes of group, from two people to larger gatherings for office or department parties.
