D&A Creative says: At the end of 2024, one of our clients approached us about a meaningful project they were working on—a charity initiative for orphaned children in Ukraine called the Safe Haven Project.
This initiative focuses on evacuating and caring for orphaned children from eastern Ukraine, providing trauma-informed training for caregivers and communities, and establishing, training, and supporting Hope House families. They needed a short animation to help promote the charity, attract sponsorship and investment, and raise funds—particularly for their Hope Houses.
From the brief, we carefully developed a soft and friendly visual style, using gentle color palettes, smooth animations, and warm, inviting imagery to create an atmosphere of comfort and hope. Our goal was to ensure the animation conveyed the emotional depth of the subject matter while maintaining a sense of sensitivity and reassurance. By striking this delicate balance, we aimed to engage viewers in a heartfelt and compassionate way, encouraging them to connect with the cause and support the Safe Haven Project.
The response to the animation was incredible, and we were truly honored to contribute to such an important cause.
