Developing staff at Michell Instruments

Michell Instruments has been working with the West Anglia Training Association (WATA) for 10 years to provide apprenticeship schemes in thier manufacturing and support departments. Five trainees have successfully completed their apprenticeships, and have all gone on to progress their careers at Michell.

Recruiting experienced professionals is important to the growth of any company, but so is providing opportunities for young people to gain knowledge, experience and qualifications in a variety of roles. The first will help the company to grow in the short term, but the second will help it to sustain its growth into the future.

Michell has grown rapidly over the past few years and so has their need for apprentices! They currently have four – two working for manufacturing, one in customer services and one junior graphic designer.
