The Enterprise Skills Award was one of the categories in the recent Cambridge Independent Science & Technology Awards, presented at a ceremony at Anglia Ruskin University.
Domino’s award-winning entry included a number of elements: creating the new role of Director of Engagement to improve employee experience; facilitating the progression of talented individuals with the Great Domino Leadership Programme; and designing a People Manager Toolkit, an extensive online learning resource to provide information on relevant subjects in a variety of formats such as podcasts, videos, articles and guides.
It also supports staff to undertake additional qualifications to enhance their skillsets and in early 2023, held its first ever company-wide Global Learning Month when employees took part in more than 4,000 activities.
Sharon Viccars, Internal Communications Manager at Domino said: “We were delighted to win this Award in recognition of our achievements in helping staff to progress by providing innovative training resources. This marks our second win in a row in these prestigious awards, as last year we were named Employer of the Year.”
