Domino invited members of Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT), with which it has an ongoing partnership, to deliver a talk on the topic of ‘Living In A World With Dementia’.

Carla Brown, Strategic Partnership Manager at ACT introduced the session, highlighting Domino’s ongoing partnership and support for the Charity.

The ‘Lunch and Learn’ session was held at the company’s headquarters at Trafalgar Way and included a talk by Maria Da Costa, Specialist Support Nurse at Addenbrooke’s Hospital who highlighted how everyone can help both individually and collectively to support those living with dementia.

Sharon Viccars, Internal Communications Executive at Domino said: “This awareness session was aimed at everyone – whether they have been touched by the condition directly, know someone who has or simply want to learn more. Maria also helped to remove some of the barriers we face when dealing with dementia at home or in the workplace – and taught us some skills to communicate with people living with dementia and their families.”
