Blue Smile hopes to raise £5000 to provide specialist, arts-based therapy and support to children aged 3-13 Cambridgeshire schools, after being selected to take part in the Big Give Kind2Mind campaign. The charity has been seeing record levels of demand for their help, with latest NHS figures showing 1 in 5 children is experiencing a probable mental health disorder.
Founded in 2010, Blue Smile provides specialist mental health support for children aged 3-13 in Cambridgeshire schools, including 1:1 arts-based therapy and small-group work. Parents and teachers are also supported understand and meet children's emotional wellbeing needs at home and in school.
Blue Smile’s services are delivered in schools so that it is easy for families to access, whatever their circumstances. The charity works in over 30 schools across Cambridgeshire, helping children lead happier childhoods and build brighter futures.
