Tom’s Trust is taking part in the Big Give’s Christmas Challenge to raise £10,000 in just one week.
These funds will be used to support 10 children with brain tumours, as well as their families, for the next year with mental health support.
Donations to the charity through its Big Give campaign page will be generously matched by the Big Give’s Champions during the campaign, meaning your money can support twice as many families.
If £2,500 is raised online, £2,500 will be matched by Tom’s Trust’s corporate supporter Cambridge Flat Roofing. Then Four Acre Trust, a Big Give Champion, will match the full £5,000, adding up to £10,000.
Rebecca Wood, CEO at Cambridge-based Tom’s Trust, said: “This year we’re looking to raise a total of £10,000. In order to access the matched funds, we need to raise £2,500 in online donations. We hope we can reach this target to enable us to carry on our much-needed work for children with brain tumours over the festive period. We know there’s a cost-of-living crisis and that currently makes donating difficult for a lot of people. But if you would like to support a charity this year, this is the perfect opportunity to do so as anything you can spare us will go twice as far at no extra cost to you.”
