Kerry-Ann Grovell joins as Conference & Events Coordinator, with responsibility for taking inquiries for corporate business, evening dinners, garden parties and general lunches, creating proposals and liaising with clients to confirm the business. She also looks after all wedding enquiries, from the initial planning stage to being here on the day.
Previous roles have included being Senior Tesco Dedicated Events Coordinator at De Vere Theobald’s Park for two and a half years, looking after conference and events for the whole of Tesco. Prior to that, Kerry-Ann worked at De Vere Solutions as an Event Coordinator before being promoted to Account Leader.
Speaking about her new role, Kerry-Ann said: “I am really enjoying all the different types of business at Downing - from conferences to dinners and weddings. Every day is different! It’s a great feeling when you see a room all set up, just before the guests arrive, knowing you have helped put all this together.”
