Many of you may remember that we organised a very successful Coffee and Cake Celebration last October. With your help, we made over £1,000 to help us support people with a brain injury. We made this money, not only by holding a Coffee and Cake Celebration here in Fulbourn, but also by many of you organising your own Coffee Morning in aid of Headway Cambridgeshire.
We are now going to be even more ambitious and we are planning another Coffee and Cake Celebration, but this time we will be open longer (10.00am – 3.00pm) so everyone is invited to look around and visit us here at Block 10, Ida Darwin, Fulbourn CB21 5EE on Thursday 17 April.
Not only will you be able to have some home-made cake and a cup of coffee or tea, we are also having a nearly new baby clothes sale and an Easter Bonnet Parade. We will be judging the bonnets at 11.00am and you are very welcome to join in and make your own bonnet. The only criteria we have is that you do have to make it yourself…..
If you can’t make it to our Easter event on 17 April, are you able to hold your own fundraising event either at your work, or in your community? We would really welcome your participation; it is great fun and all the money you raise will be going to a really good cause and help us help people with a brain injury throughout Cambridgeshire.
It would be wonderful to see you on 17 April, or if not, let us know if you can help by organising your own Coffee and Cake Celebration another day. We will do all we can to support you.
