Sharon Livermore, Director of Kameo Recruitment and Neil Bharadwa, Director Of Cambridge Fruit Company said:
“It is fantastic to be able to collaborate and make such a positive impact on the local community. It has been a busy few weeks for our teams, who have all played their part and we have been overwhelmed with the response from local businesses this year. We set a target of 1000, which we thought would be a struggle in the current economic climate, so reaching 1322 has been amazing. We appreciate everyone who has donated and have made sure that all of the eggs have been safely delivered and are ready to make lots of children smile this Easter”
A spokesperson from EACH said:
“At East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices we are sadly normally unable to accept easter egg donations, however, this year we were really pleased to be able accept eggs from our corporate partner Kameo Recruitment.
Kameo collected these eggs from local businesses and we are so grateful that they did this. We are really pleased to say that the donation of the eggs will go towards our Siblings events which are being held during the Easter half term. Siblings days offer siblings of children with life-threatened conditions the opportunity to have fun and enjoy days out with children in similar circumstances as themselves. The Easter eggs will be a lovely addition to these events and we are so pleased the children will be able to go home at the end of the day with an egg.”
