Friday 8 February (12pm-2pm) 

Making the Most of Cambridge Network Membership   Hauser Forum, The Entrepreneurship Centre, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge, CB3 0GT  Free to members and invited guests  This lunchtime seminar is aimed at promoting the benefits of active involvement in the Cambridge Network. The Network offers a range of different services and this event gives new and potential members the chance to explore the various opportunities available. 
Thursday 21 February (6pm registration, 6.30pm talk) Business Lecture  Microsoft Research's brand new offices, Station Road, Cambridge  Free to members Ken Woodberry, Deputy Managing Director of Microsoft Research, has responsibility for the lab's business-facing activities, including technology transfer, incubation, licensing, spin-outs, and other models for utilising the intellectual property generated by the lab's research groups. He will present details of a few of the current research projects and discuss how the company balances the tension between encouraging blue-sky basic research and ensuring that the lab has measurable impact on the company’s success.
Thursday 28 February (8-10am) Breakfast Networking - Finance Hauser Forum, The Entrepreneurship Centre, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge, CB3 0GT  £10.00+VAT (members)/ £50.00+VAT (non-members)  What are the critical finance issues facing your business? Here's an opportunity, especially for smaller businesses, not only to discuss possible solutions with like-minded people, but to meet other Network members who may be able to help. Enjoy networking plus short presentations on funding opportunities, common tax pitfalls for SMEs, and real-time PAYE reporting.
Wednesday 6 March (09:30 - 11am)  Meet Cambridge Network  Venue TBC Free to members and invited guests  Are you a larger organisation contemplating membership of Cambridge Network? Or maybe your company has been a member for a while and you've been along to our events but didn't know about Recruitment Gateway or the Learning possibilities available to you?  This brief seminar includes short presentations from Cambridge Network’s team, who will (re)acquaint you with the various services offered and remind you why you should become/ became a member in the first place!
Tuesday 12 March (6pm registration, 6.30pm talk) Business Lecture Paston Brown Room, Homerton Conference Centre, Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 8PH  Free to members Neil Carson, CEO of global chemical company Johnson Matthey (pictured),  identified sustainability as a key business driver. Its Environmental Technologies Division has grown into the largest business in JM, contributing over 65% of revenues. The sustainability initiative, 'Sustainability 2017', is on track to reduce the company’s environmental impact per unit output, while more than doubling earnings per share.
