Festive fundraising from Cambridge law firm Stone King

Noel-inspired knitwear was the order of the day as part of a festive fundraiser for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.

The annual event is designed to spread some Christmas cheer with those decked out in plush pullovers making a donation to the children’s charity.

From sequins to silly seasonal offerings, Stone King’s people took part to help children around the world have better futures.

In addition to the charity fundraising, Stone King isn’t sending Christmas cards to help the environment. Instead, the national firm will make a donation to The Trussell Trust nationwide network of food banks.

There were also some distinctly hairy happenings at Stone King as part of Movember.

Trainee Solicitor Conor McDonald and Digital Marketing Manager David Bromley took part in the hirsute challenge, with their efforts raising hundreds for men’s health.

Conor was part of a group effort called Worsley’s Cherry Checkers, who collectively raised £1,590, while David notched up nearly £200.

Stone King's Cambridge office is at Bateman House, 82-88 Hills Road; the firm specialises in Business & Social Enterprise, Charity, Education, Faith and Personal law. It also has offices in Bath, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London and Manchester.
