Cambridge-based specialist food & drink marketing agency, The Food Marketing Experts has enjoyed unprecedented success on this year’s awards scene.

Managing director Vhari Russell received the privileged accolade of Outstanding Industry Champion at this year’s Speciality & Fine Food Fair Awards, in recognition of her contribution to the food & drink industry over the last 20 years. Russell was commended for her commitment to supporting new and established businesses via compelling results orientated campaigns; in addition to her work in mentoring newcomers to the sector; judging at various industry awards and playing a pivotal role in raising awareness of critical environmental challenges that need to be considered to address the climate control agenda through the work of The Food Marketing Experts’ rewilding charity Creating Nature’s Corridors. 

Creating Nature’s Corridors, which was set up by Russell three years ago has had a phenomenal year scooping the BBC Cambridgeshire Make a Difference Green Award which spotlights individuals and groups in Cambridgeshire who are making significant efforts to improve the local environment. The charity was also acknowledged as the Silver winner of the Cambridgeshire SME Awards in the 'Community Business of the Year' category, which recognizes organisations that prioritise community benefit and have a substantial impact on their local area. Creating Nature’s Corridors was Highly Commended Small Charity of the Year in this year’s national Third Sector Awards. Finally, Russell herself was honoured in July with the Hunts Forum Volunteer Rural Award and just last week, was awarded the highly credible title of Gold Winner in the National Women’s Business Awards, in the Community Champion category, which recognises women who dedicate their time and resources to businesses that give back to the community. 

In addition, The Food Marketing Experts was selected as the Best Food & Beverage Marketing/PR Agency 2024 - UK by LUXlife magazine.
