The webinar takes place on 9 September and runs from 12-1pm; it will be delivered by lawyers Laura Berman and Christopher Jones (pictured).
It will cover changes in the code such as for previously looked after children, children who have been excluded twice or who display challenging behaviour, and in-year admission.
The webinar will also look at record keeping following the allocation of places, oversubscribed criteria and places for the children of UK service personnel and crown servants, amongst other changes.
It will allow admission authorities time to consider the new code before the six-week consultation period for any proposed changes to their 2023-2024 admission arrangements, which must take place between 1 October 2021 and 31 January 2022.
