Free workshop helps businesses wishing to export

European agencies are set to deliver a free workshop for Cambridge businesses looking to export. A one day course at St John’s Innovation Centre on 26th June 2012 aims to help turn businesses’ export aspirations into reality.

Trade experts from Enterprise Europe Network and UK Trade and Investment will present the knowledge and skills needed to export effectively.

Topics covered on the day will include an introduction to exporting profitably, the different stages of exporting, the mechanics, reviewing your export requirements and a final overview of the free help and support on offer from government agencies.

Mathilde Murphy, Enterprise Europe East of England manager said, “at a time of small domestic growth, we hope our free workshops can help businesses in Cambridge benefit from strategic advice about successfully exporting their product or service”.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to ask questions, with highly successful exporters on hand to lend their advice on what businesses could export and how they can go about it.

Tea, coffee and networking lunch will be provided; anyone interested in attending should call Enterprise Europe Network on 0845 641 99 55, email enterprise.europe@eeneast.org.uk
