The fundraising evening, held this week (Tuesday), was organised by Pure to bring colleagues and clients together for a fun night in aid of the independent bereavement support charity. The pizza and prosecco themed event included a clothes bring and buy sale, and raised further funds for the charity through donations in return for manicures, hair braiding and crimping, and make up by Cambridge make-up artist Dani Rose.
Caroline Batchelor, Manager Pure Cambridge, said: “Thank you to everyone who came along and supported this event. It was a fun evening which helped to raise much needed funds for a very worthwhile cause.”
STARS provides bereavement support and pre-bereavement support to children and young people who have experienced the death of an important person in their lives or who are facing losing a loved one. As an independent charity, it relies on charitable donations to continue its work.
This is one of several events hosted by Pure to support this charity, including its recent Cambridge Quiz Night and its Charity Leaders Forum. The recruitment consultancy is committed to its charity partners across the region and to date it has raised over £117,000.
