The Haverhill controlled environment specialists are sponsors of the Best Modular/Mobile Healthcare Facility award at the event being held at The Brewery in Barbican, London, tomorrow (Weds).
This is on the back of a super-busy spell for the cleanroom construction team, who are currently working on a 400sqm Grade C cleanroom project in Cambridgeshire, a 150sqm Grade D modular build in Kent and a 30sqm ISO7 solution in Cardiff.
With another 400sqm Grade C build planned for early next year, many more scheduled for the coming months and a string of quality projects recently completed, the glitzy awards featuring 600 guests from across the Healthcare sector and beyond is the perfect stage for a small celebration of their achievements in 2021.
“The team have worked really hard over the last few months to get some amazing builds over the line,” says Operations Director Conor Barwise, who will be attending the awards on Wednesday. “To keep producing these high-quality builds time after time is a real badge of us honour for us – I’m incredibly proud of their diligence, professionalism and desire for excellence.”
Guardtech, which was a finalist for Business of the Year at the Bury Free Press Awards last month, is also appearing at Lab Innovations (stand F108) at the NEC this week.
Its recently completed projects include a 150sqm Life Sciences project in Goole, an 80sqm ISO5 semiconductor cleanroom, a 45sqm ISO5 controlled environment in Bristol, a 30sqm ISO7 installation in Salford for cell and gene therapy and a 200sqm ISO9 project in Daventry.
This is alongside the continued success of its CleanCube portable cleanrooms – which have proved so vital for COVID-19 PCR testing to support a range of industries, including elite-level sport, TV and film production companies and major airports across the UK.
And it was because of the team's expertise in modular and mobile cleanroom design and construction that the firm felt they’d be the ideal sponsors for the Best Modular/Mobile Healthcare Facility award.
Commercial Director Mark Wheeler added: “We’re delighted to be among a list of distinguished sponsors at the Building Better Healthcare Awards. We take a lot of pride in delivering quality products and services in the sphere of modular and mobile cleanroom construction, and so it seemed fitting that we should attach our brand to this award.
“I hope everyone has a great time at the Barbican celebrating some of the amazing achievements by some fantastic companies in the healthcare sector.”
