The Guardtech Group have been shortlisted for two more awards at events in September and October, bringing the total number of nominations to FIVE at four showpieces.
The Haverhill-based cleanroom design & build specialists have been shortlisted in the Life Science Innovation category at the prestigious Cambridge-based Business Weekly Awards whilst also earning a finalist berth at the National Building & Construction Awards (NBCA) for Innovation of the Year.
Both awards were earned on the back of the Group’s continued innovative work with CleanCube Mobile Cleanrooms – a range of groundbreaking shipping container cleanroom solutions being delivered to Life Sciences and High-Tech Engineering applications all over the world.
Guardtech were also recently nominated for Best Enterprising Business and Family Business of the Year at the SME Cambridgeshire showpiece, as well as Marketing Team of the Year at the London Construction Awards.
The Group will now look forward to the SME Cambs event at Cambridge Marina on Thursday 5 September, the Business Weekly showpiece at Queens’ College, Cambridge on 11 September and the London Construction Awards at Novotel London West in Hammersmith on Friday 27 September.
The festivities then conclude at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge on Thursday 24 October for the NBCA evening.
Guardtech were previous winners at the 2022 SME Cambs Awards, with portable cleanroom solution CleanCube scooping the Innovation Award, while the same business was a finalist at the London Construction Awards the same year in the Product Innovation of the Year category.
CleanCube was originally developed as a unique mobile cleanroom solution for the Oil & Gas industry before becoming critical in the fight against COVID-19, with more than 50 containers and vehicle conversion labs providing PCR testing all over the UK during the pandemic.
Recent developments have seen Guardtech launch and further improve their CleanCube Multi system – with seven-bay and 10-bay R&D facilities among the large-scale facilities being dropped in warehouses and car parks around the UK.
Marketing Manager Joe Shackley said: “We’re thrilled to be in the running for a further two awards later this year.
“This is a real feather in the cap for everyone, not just at CleanCube HQ in Brandon, but the wider business as a whole.
“We’ve got so many talented, enthusiastic and dynamic people working in all areas of the business now and all these awards nominations are recognition of their dedication to excellence, commitment to great customer service and will to innovate, solve problems and constantly exceed expectations.”
