Cleanroom kings and queens back in Birmingham for UK’s biggest laboratory industry showcase
The controlled environment experts are ready to bring their exciting range of cleanroom and laboratory products and services to Birmingham, having already wowed NEC delegates at Med-Tech Innovation Expo in September and the Cleanroom Technology Conference in the same city a fortnight earlier.
The show, which is the UK's largest annual trade exhibition dedicated to the laboratory industry, marks the end of an exciting few months for the Haverhill firm, with a number of modular builds either recently completed, currently under way or scheduled for the coming months.
This is alongside the continued success of their CleanCube portable cleanrooms, ISOPOD quick-assembly cleanrooms and their comprehensive furniture and equipment division – all of which will be on the agenda for discussion with delegates next week.
Commercial Director Mark Wheeler, who will also be discussing some of the differences between laboratories and cleanrooms at 10.30am at the Cleanroom Hub on Day One, is aiming to finish off the year in style at Guardtech’s F108 stand.
“We’re really looking forward to Lab Innovations this year,” he said. “We had such a great time talking to delegates at Med-Tech Innovation and the Cleanroom Technology Conference – it was wonderful to be out and about again, mixing, networking and connecting with so many friendly and familiar faces.
“Please drop by our pitch and say hello – we provide so many interesting and innovative products for the laboratory industry. One of our cleanroom solutions might be just what your operation needs to go to the next level.”
Guardtech recently started work on a 400sqm Grade C cleanrooms project in Cambridgeshire, while the team also have active builds in Cardiff for a 30sqm ISO7 solution and a 150sqm Grade D modular build in Kent, plus another 400sqm Grade C build planned for the near future in Sheffield.
This is on the back of a super-busy summer programme, which included the completion of a 150sqm Life Sciences project in Goole, an 80sqm ISO5 semiconductor cleanroom, a 45sqm ISO5 build in Bristol, a 30sqm ISO7 installation in Salford for cell and gene therapy and a 200sqm ISO9 project in Daventry.
Despite the busy schedule, Mr Wheeler and Marketing Manager Joe Shackley are planning to attend as many exhibitions as they can manage in the new year – including a string of international events.
Mr Shackley said: “It’s been so great to show off what we can do at the last few shows, and I’m certain Lab Innovations is going to be really successful for us, provide us with some great leads and open us up to some valuable new connections.
“I’m currently in the middle of putting together our events schedule for 2022, and we’re still open to offers, suggestions and recommendations for our upcoming programme, so please get in touch with us here at Guardtech if you think we might be a good fit for your show. See you at the NEC!”
