Hannah Simoes returns to Cambridge to lead Deloitte tax team

Hannah Simoes will be taking over from Richard Blackwell to lead the Cambridge Deloitte tax team as he retires next month. Hannah lives in North Cambridge and is an International Tax Partner with  over 15 years’ experience working with corporate groups.

Richard is retiring after 18 years with the firm and has held a number of roles across both Cambridge, St Albans and the wider south east region.

Hannah (pictured) began her career working with small and high growth companies in an audit and accounting advisory capacity before joining Deloitte Reading’s corporate tax team in 2005. Throughout her career she has worked across Cambridge, Reading and London offices and is now returning to Cambridge to lead the 60 strong tax team. She is the Deloitte national tax lead for FTSE 250 companies, with a focus on advising on and auditing tax issues affecting large multinational and domestic groups. Deloitte has a strong personal and corporate tax team in Cambridge working across the full spectrum of tax issues.
