Conference Cambridge, the official free venue-finding service for Cambridge University and its Colleges as well as hotels and other unique properties in the city, has announced that 15 major international organisations have signed up to hold their residential conferences in the city.
Events include:
- 23rd Fordham Law Intellectual Property Law & Policy – 500 delegates for two days
- International National Trusts Organisation - 16th International Conference of National Trusts - 300 delegates for five days
- International Society for Hip Arthroscopy – 500 delegates for three days
- Institute of Physics MSM 2015 – 100 delegates for four days
- Cambridge University Department of Engineering SECED 2015 – 200 delegates for two days and SPARS 2015 – 150 delegates for four days
- Cambridge University Department of Plant Sciences – 2nd International Molecular Mycorrhiza Meeting (iMMM) – 150 delegates for three days
- iMAPS HiTEN – 200 delegates for three days
- The Hymn Society of Great Britain and Ireland Annual Conference – 120 delegates for five days
- Building Limes Forum Conference – 100 delegates for three days
- The SAP Higher Education and Research User Group (HERUG) - 200 delegates for three days
- International Association for Computer Adaptive Testing (IACAT) – 200 delegates for three days
- Focusing Institute 27th International Conference 2016 – 200 delegates for five days
- The 12th International Conference on Technology of Plasticity 2017– 600 delegates for five days
- The International Prison Chaplains’ Association Europe – 150 delegates for four days 2017.
The larger events are taking advantage of Cambridge’s compactness and using several venues to accommodate the official conference programme and social gatherings while smaller conferences are being held in individual venues.
