Around 850,000 people in the UK have dementia with the number of people affected projected to reach 2 million by 2051. There is currently no cure for any of the neurodegenerative conditions that give rise to dementia, which represents one of the toughest medical and economic challenges facing our society today.
During the event, a line-up of expert speakers will provide a comprehensive and fascinating update on the latest research results and treatments available for neurodegenerative disease, including dementia, along with a review of government funding, a private investment industry update, and news from one of five of the UK’s ‘Dementia Research Institutes’ Centre’s of Excellence.
Hear case studies from four of the most innovative companies in the UK who are working in the neurodegenerative space.
