Legal firm gets a hole in one for Addenbrooke's

Thomson Webb and Corfield, leading local legal law firm with offices in Cambridge and Histon, successfully raised £2,000 for Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) at a charity golf day that took place at Bourn Golf and Leisure Club last month.

Clients and individuals from local businesses came together to play 18 holes of golf, courtesy of the partners at Thomson Webb and Corfield.

Players took part in a number of mini competitions during the 18 holes and participated in a raffle during their three-course evening meal.  Exceptional prizes were kindly donated by clients and colleagues of the firm.

Tim Thomson, Partner at Thomson Webb and Corfield, said “Everyone at Thomson Webb and Corfield are so pleased that we were able to raise a significant sum for ACT to support the level of care at the Addenbrooke's which our staff, clients, friends and family will inevitably call upon in the future.”

Carla Brown, Corporate Fundraising Manager at ACT said “It is fantastic to be part of a day like this. Everyone had a really enjoyable time whilst raising vital funds for their local hospital. We cannot thank Thomson Webb and Corfield and their guests enough for their generosity on the night!”
