To mark the exciting launch of their new showrooms in Bristol and Glasgow, Lily Arkwright introduced the Social Champions Grant initiative, awarding £2,000 to support local communities. After receiving an incredible number of inspiring applications, two deserving organisations have been selected: Nostalgia and Baby Bank Network Bristol, each receiving a £1,000 grant.

Supporting Local Heroes

The Nostalgia Group brings joy to the elderly by hosting free events in community spaces and care homes. This Christmas, with the help of the grant, they will open a local hall for a festive day of food, music, and games, giving older residents a reason to celebrate and connect.

“Many older people can be victims of depression as loneliness seeps into their lives. Nostalgia offers the hand of friendship and a sense of being valued and belonging, as well  as a chance to make new friends.” - Geraldine Baird MBE

Baby Bank Network Bristol (the second grant recipient) helps families in need by providing pre-loved baby essentials, reducing waste and supporting those facing financial hardship. The grant will fund toiletry bundles for struggling families, including nappies, soap, and essentials for post-natal care. To support their work, visit Baby Bank Network.
