Make a Will Week runs from Monday 28 April to Friday 2 May – during which time local solicitors including Adams Harrison, Buckles Law, Heckford Norton, Leeds Day, Stone King, Tees Law, Cambridge Wills and Legal Services and Oliver's Wills will be waiving their standard Will-writing fees in return for clients making a donation to Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT).
ACT is the only registered charity dedicated to supporting innovation in patient care across Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals.
ACT's legacy advisor, Alice Macek said: “We are delighted that so many local solicitors and Will-writers are once again supporting Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) by participating in Make a Will Week. From 28 April - 2 May they will be waiving their fees to write or update a standard Will, in return for a donation to ACT. Helping raise these vital funds will make a real difference for patients at Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals, now and in the future.”
Clients are also being asked to consider Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust once they have provided for loved ones in their Wills. The gifts it receives mean that ACT can support many improvements to patient care, facilities and research.
The suggested donation for a single Will is a minimum of £75 and £150 for a pair of mirror Wills. Please note appointments are limited.
