Meet Cambridge is entering into a new venture with Bury St Edmunds And Beyond, to work collaboratively and promote the eastern region for business events
Venues in and around Bury St Edmunds are invited to join Meet Cambridge as Associate Members.
Associate Members benefit from opportunities to promote their facilities and receive new business leads. This enables properties to maximise the use of meeting spaces and attract new buyers. Meet Cambridge is offering a variety of membership packages to suit all sizes of venue and promotional needs.
The new partnership was announced at the recent ‘Bringing Tourism Together’ Trade Fair, part of the West Suffolk Business Festival which was showcasing attractions in Bury St Edmunds And Beyond.
The Fair took place at The Athenaeum on Angel Hill. It offered an excellent opportunity for tourism and business professionals to come along to meet accommodation providers, visitor attractions and food and drink suppliers, as well as partner organisations that Bury St Edmunds And Beyond is working with to promote the area to visitors.
Kelly Vickers, Director of Meet Cambridge said: “This is a great opportunity for Meet Cambridge to expand its portfolio; it will benefit venues, who can enjoy being part of our regional marketing activity and event planners, who will gain greater choice over a wider geographical area.”
Sue Warren, Brand & Marketing Manager for Bury St Edmunds And Beyond added: “We are excited to be launching this new partnership with Meet Cambridge who have been running a similar initiative with Visit Cambridge.
“It will provide a one-stop-shop for event organisers looking to find venues for events and business meetings in the Bury St Edmunds area, bringing business to our members who are venues for hire and helping us to grow business tourism.”
