The team, led by partner Zickie Lim, was named Best Legal Team for Early Stage Deals at the ceremony held at London’s Science Museum.
The award honoured the legal firm which has made a significant impact on the ecosystem during the past year, both through actively supporting angel and early stage investment deals and bringing real added value to the investment process.
The Mills & Reeve Venture Capital Investment team has long been avid supporters of the UK’s early-stage investment market and is recognised for its stellar expertise, high quality of client service and collaborative way of working. Each year the team advises on between 80 and 100 early stage and growth investment deals with last year’s deals having an aggregate investment value of £450m+
