Mind Your Head – the Headway Cambridgeshire Grand Challenge will see people from business, education, the public sector and general public come together to:
- crowd-source ideas for products and services that will help improve the lives of people with an acquired brain injury
- raise funds for Headway Cambridgeshire so the charity can help more people.
The challenge will involve four types of participant:
- Solvers: join a team and help develop ideas for new products and services to improve the lives of people with brain injury
- Sages: donate your expertise and your time to help the solvers
- Supporters: organisations or individuals donate money to support Headway Cambridgeshire via the challenge
- Seekers: people with a brain injury – Headway Cambridgeshire’s clients who want to improve their quality of life.
This new challenge is being developed and promoted during early 2014 as Headway Cambridgeshire looks for people and organisations to fulfil the roles above ahead of an event in October 2014.
Ideas will be adopted by teams and competitive strategies will be developed. Teams can be of any size so a few individuals with a common interest can form a team as well as a company, school or club.
At a second event in November, teams will present their ideas to an audience including Seekers and other teams. Commercialised ideas will help to raise funds for Headway Cambridgeshire.
Headway Cambridgeshire is recruiting Solvers, Sages and Supporters right now so whether you are an individual, a group of friends, or a company, now is the time to sign up for Mind Your Head – the Headway Cambridgeshire Grand Challenge.
