National accolade for Domino director

Carl Haycock

A Cambridge company is celebrating one of its directors receiving a national accolade – taking up an advisory role with an organisation which is shaping the future of the industry.

Carl Haycock, UK Operations Director at Domino Printing, has been appointed Vice Chair for the Make UK East of England Regional Advisory Board, representing member companies both in the area and at national board level.

As the voice of manufacturing, Make UK creates the most supportive environment for the growth and success of the sector, influencing policy-making at local, national and international levels.

Carl said: “Operational Excellence is a key part of our continued success at Domino, ensuring we  provide the best service levels to our global customers.

“I strongly believe UK manufacturing has a massive part to play in the global supply chain and I’m delighted to be able to work with Make UK and other manufacturing organisations to help create the environment to foster that success.”

In addition to championing and celebrating UK manufacturing, Make UK delivers practical support and industry insight, as well as an extensive programme of professional training courses and apprenticeships to encourage the next generation of engineers.
