A Cambridge company is enhancing its commitment to all customers in the food sector – both manufacturers and machinery suppliers – with a new role dedicated to delivering solutions tailored to their needs. New Global Role Strengthens Support For Food Sector

The worldwide remit involves working with Domino’s country and regional markets, all of which have different challenges and legislative demands. In-depth understanding of both current and future needs is a key objective in order to continue to provide solutions to meet their requirements.

Rachael comes to the role with 20 years’ experience of working with packaging and manufacturing businesses spanning multinational retailers to small start-ups, firstly in internal customer support, then field-based account management roles and latterly, team management.

The last 12 years at Domino have been spent within the UK Channel, most recently leading the field sales team.

She says: “When the opportunity arose for the Food Sector role it appealed to me as it is such a varied sector, with the possibilities to learn and understand more of country and region-specific trends, influences and regulations. I want to take the knowledge and experience I have previously gained to ensure that Domino can not only provide solutions for a customer’s needs today, but also be futureproofing them for what is anticipated moving forward.

“I’ve always supported Domino’s initiatives to encourage more women in technical roles. There are some great opportunities to excel within the scientific and engineering-based industries and I would encourage more women to consider sales as a career path as I have done.”
