The Nutcracker appeal

Cambridge Junction’s Christmas Nutcracker Appeal aims to raise £5,000 to be able to give 500 tickets and ice creams to local children who wouldn’t otherwise be able to go to their inclusive family festive show.

The Nutcracker at Cambridge Junction

This year with the publics’ help, Cambridge Junction would like to invite even more people to join them for an energising festive celebration, at a time when it perhaps feels it has never been more needed.

Cambridge Junction is very proud of its funded ticket scheme which welcomes 100s of people into the venue each year, including young carers, refugee families, children in care, young people with disabilities and children who are entitled to Pupil Premium.

Just £10 buys a child a theatre trip and an ice cream!

Working in partnership with local charities, education and community organisations, they are trying to ensure the invitations reach far and wide. In previous years they have welcomed groups from, amongst others, Centre 33, Queen Edith’s Food Hub, Red Hen, Refugee Resettlement and SEN schools.

Stobbs IP has generously supported the creation of this new, welcoming and inclusive show. They now need your help to ensure they can welcome as many people as possible to these productions.

This year's family Christmas show is The Nutcracker, guaranteed to leave audiences filled with holiday cheer!

Created and presented by Moxie Brawl's company of disabled and non-disabled performers this brand new, rocking family show will razzle-dazzle you. All the performances will be relaxed* and be BSL (British Sign Language) Interpreted.

*A relaxed performance is a show that’s been adapted to suit people who might require a more relaxed environment when going to the theatre. Usually, these are adults or children with learning difficulties, autism or sensory communication disorders.
