More than £10,000 has been raised in Tom’s Trust’s Big Give campaign – smashing the charity’s target.

The children’s brain tumour charity raised £10,423, surpassing its £10,000 target thanks to dedicated supporters who donated generously.

The funds will be used to support 10 children with brain tumours, as well as their families, for the next year with mental health support.

Donations to the charity through the Big Give were matched, meaning any donation was automatically doubled by the campaign.

The first £2,500 raised online, was matched by Tom’s Trust’s corporate supporter Cambridge Flat Roofing. Then Four Acre Trust, a Big Give Champion, matched a further £2,500 raised online, adding up to £10,000.

Rebecca Wood, Tom’s Trust CEO, said: “We are so thrilled to have surpassed our target for the Big Give, the money will change the lives of families facing a brain tumour this Christmas. We can’t thank all those who donated enough for their generosity, and want to say a special thank you to our brilliant matched funders.”
