The Asian Women of Achievement Awards, held at Hilton London Bankside, celebrates Asian women across the UK and across industries who are making a valuable and important impact to British life and UK society. The awards, founded by Pinky Lilani CBE DL, play a key role in redefining the contribution of Asian women; informing a new, positive, pro-diversity debate.
Rina, who leads PA’s alliances, platforms, and products business, was recognised for her significant contribution to the technology industry, specifically leading high-growth businesses that seek to solve the biggest global issues such as sustainability, security, and keeping people healthy. At Microsoft she led the transformation across a number of industries and her responsibilities at PA include the Oakdoor security offering, which protects governments and critical infrastructure against cyber-attacks, Pulpac, a pioneering paper-based solution that replaces single-use plastics and Patient Catalyst which is an AI powered solution to reduce the strain on NHS trusts.
Rina is passionate about diversity and inclusion and in particular supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. She mentors PA’s ethnic minority graduates on the firm’s early careers programme, and is the PA lead for the company’s partnership with the charity STEMETTES, which encourages girls and young women to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths.
It’s such a privilege to be part of the incredible community Pinky Lilani and her team are building here and around the world. My heritage is a big part of who I am and this recognition is testament to the love, support and guidance from my amazing family, friends and everyone who supported me throughout my career to love what I do and be who I am. There are endless opportunities ahead and this is an exciting platform to keep lifting each other and inspire the next generation to be bolder and brighter.” Rina Ladva, Global Head of Alliances, Platforms, and Products, PA Consulting
Rina is an outstanding business leader and has made important contributions to the technology industry. She oversees the development and commercialisation of core products that contribute directly to our purpose of building a positive human future, including sustainable packaging solutions and products that help protect national security.
