On October 31st, Ms. Lin Li, CEO of Excellence First (EFEC), met with Mr. Liu Yu, a key figure at the Institute of Digital Medical Technology (IDMT) at the Shanghai Yangtze Delta Innovation Institute. Mr. Liu holds multiple roles, including Senior Engineer, International Technology Transfer Manager, Executive Director, and General Manager. The meeting focused on how EFEC and IDMT can jointly promote efficient cooperation in the digital healthcare sector between the UK and China.

The discussions centred on the opportunities and challenges currently faced by the digital healthcare sectors in both countries. They also addressed the cultural differences that need to be bridged for successful international collaboration. Specific projects, such as Clinitouch, were highlighted for their potential positive impact on the reform and high-quality development of public hospitals in China. Both parties agreed to further refine their collaboration based on practical application needs and to continue detailed consultations.
