RealVNC® MirrorLink™ solution runs on CSRatlas7™ at TU-Automotive Detroit 2015

VNC® Automotive technology on the new CSRatlas7TM Display Audio SoC is being demonstrated at TU-Automotive, Detroit.

 

RealVNC® today announces that its VNC MirrorLink™ Automotive SDK will be showcased this week at TU-Automotive Detroit 2015 by CSR plc on booth C117. CSR, the supplier of connectivity, location, audio and System on Chip (SoC) technologies will demonstrate how the solution enables smartphone to vehicle connectivity, leveraging MirrorLink technology and VNC Enhanced mode, as part of its demo of CSRatlas7™. 

CSRatlas7 is CSR’s latest Display Audio SoC which integrates infotainment, connectivity and location features to accelerate time to market. The high-quality, but cost-effective turnkey application processor enables OEMs to integrate exciting new features in entry and mid-level vehicles. VNC Automotive is fully MirrorLink Certified™, and offers OEMs using CSRatlas7 a high quality and robust solution which will allow drivers to access content and applications from their mobile devices via the head unit.

CSR were able to seamlessly integrate VNC Automotive onto the new platform, which meets the needs of complex infotainment systems by integrating a dual-core CPU and GPU architecture and peripherals including Bluetooth®, Software Defined Radio (SDR), GNSS baseband, an audio DSP and high quality audio-codecs components.
