Red Gate offers Cambridge makers free places at BLN IoT Forum

Red Gate offers free places to Cambridge makers with an interest in the Internet of Things to attend IoT Forum 2014 (#IoT14) next week (April 15th 2014).

You may already know that the IoT Forum is running for the second time in Cambridge on April 15th.

The BLN has some free places available courtesy of Red Gate for deserving people!

Cambridge has all of the elements that a world centre of IoT excellence needs – smart people who can do hardware and solve big data software problems, significant capital available for entrepreneurial businesses, a thriving ‘maker’ community and a place in the minds of large corporates which view Cambridge as a centre for innovation.

The IoT forum is about bringing all sorts of different communities – makers, entrepreneurs, large companies who buy technology and large companies that sell technology – together to think about how they can work together. The BLN is also very keen to help all the people in the ecosystem to get exposure to the problems that people have in the ‘real world’ that the IoT can solve.

Through their Red Gate Ventures programme and support for the Cambridge IoT Meetup, Red Gate Software is supporting the event and making 25 places available to makers, doers and startups in the Cambridge area to attend the IoT Forum as their guests.

The BLN says: "We want to make these places available to people who otherwise would not be able to afford the admission price. If you are involved in the Internet of Things, are an entrepreneur in a pre-revenue company or just part of the Cambridge maker community, you can register your interest in a guest pass here."
