School visit strengthens Domino links with local community

Bar Hill-based Domino Printing Sciences is demonstrating its commitment to the community by inviting pupils from a local school to make an educational visit to its headquarters.

A party of 48 children from Year 6 at Bar Hill Community Primary School visited Domino recently to learn more about the company’s leading-edge coding and marking technology.

The pupils were given a guided tour and able to ask questions. At the end of the visit illustrating Domino’s cutting-edge technology in action, they were able to try out the printers on a variety of materials.

Sharon Viccars, Internal Communications Executive at Domino said: “We were delighted to welcome pupils from our local Primary School to come along and see our technology in action. They asked lots of questions and enjoyed trying out the printers before being given a goody bag to take away.”

The visit was part of Domino’s ongoing programme called ‘Bringing The Curriculum Alive’ which includes a range of outreach activities with local schools and colleges, as well as educational visits to its Bar Hill headquarters.
