GCF certification ensures compliance with a set of cellular network standards and is mandatory for devices requiring connection to mobile networks. The award of the certification ensures that Sepura’s first LTE device can now be deployed by mission critical customers around the world.
Terence Ledger, Worldwide Sales Director for Sepura said: “Mission critical users are increasingly looking for advanced technology to support their communications and operations. The SCU3 provides the audio quality and hardware reliability that Sepura has built its reputation on, with the additional benefit of powerful data capability. As travel restrictions start to return to pre-pandemic levels, we are looking forward to initiating customer trials, enabling users to see first-hand the capability of these new devices.”
