On 6th June, the commencement ceremony of major projects in Lingang New Area (Nanhui New Town) in the second quarter of 2022 was held - 11 major projects such as the leading diabetes innovative drug production base have been started.

An example is the China Telecom Lingang Computing Platform Project, located in the comprehensive industrial area. The first phase of the project covers an area of about 119 acres and a construction area of about 175,000 square meters. It will include R&D building, data R&D machine building, submarine cable landing station, R&D power centre, and a 220kv user substation.
