Ken Dickson, the Managing Director of Axiom-e, has been invited to speak on "Social Business: Building the Future" at the African Business Platform Business Breakfast on 31st March 2018.
The talk is a variation of a seminar he presented at the Jubilee Plus "Churches That Change Communities" Conference in October.
In addition to running and supporting various commercial businesses as Finance Director or Business Advisor, Ken is increasingly asked to help, mentor and train young entrepreneurs in various countries. As a result, he has spoken at events in Dubai, Nigeria and Zambia as well as in the UK.
Ken developed then ran his course The Pillars of Business Success in Zambia (for Zambia 2050 and the University of Kitwe) and has taught elements of it in Nigeria (at the Cambridge International Education Conference) and the UK. Having been asked to run The Pillars of Business Success in Cambridge, he will be doing so as a three-part course beginning on 27th April at the Future Business Centre.
As part of his interest in developing the next generation of business people, Ken also gives talks to charities and business groups.
Whilst the talks to business groups are generally pro bono, attendees or groups are encouraged to consider making a donation to The Turbo Trust, which seeks to raise money in order to fund the purchase of specialised elevating powered wheelchairs to provide independent mobility to active disabled people.
