St John's Innovation Centre collaborates with Enterprise Europe Network on Social Media event

St John's Innovation Centre, the leading incubator in Europe, is set to deliver 'Espresso Sho(r)t Business Insights: Social Media – Marketing Without Frontiers' on Wednesday 22 July, in collaboration with Enterprise Europe Network.

 

The social media workshop has been designed to help delegates develop and create the right social media strategy for their business, identifying what platforms they should be using and the potential pitfalls of social media. 

By the end of the session delegates will …

  • Understand what Social Media activity they should be planning
  • Learn valuable hints and tips for posting dynamic and engaging content to reach national and international markets
  • Recognise the benefits and pitfalls of Social Media
  • Have a clear understanding of the business support available through the Enterprise Europe Network

During the session the trainer, Simon Wheeler, will talk about some real-world experiences of developing and implementing Social Media Strategy for local SMEs and demonstrate the kind of results one might expect.

Simon has worked for 17 years creating strategy and tactics for digital marketing. He provides design, marketing, social media and website development services to SME’s throughout the region – working with diverse clients including; NHS, Barratt Homes, NAPP Pharmaceuticals and Morrison Utility Services.

St John’s Innovation Centre was founded in 1987 by St John's College, Cambridge, the first pioneering business incubator of its kind in Europe.
