The Bistro will welcome Park tenants and other guests with honest, home-made food using seasonal produce to provide a fresh take on British cuisine.
Open five days a week for breakfast and hot lunches, the Bistro will serve a variety of freshly-prepared bagels, baguettes, sandwiches, paninis and ciabattas throughout the day, including gluten free and vegan options.
By popular demand, delicious soups will be prepared daily, along with light salads and appetisers such as feta and olives. The revamped menu will see the return of all-time favourites like fish and chips, warming stews and a selection of classic puddings.
‘We’re excited about the Bistro extension and delighted to complete the first phase of the development right on time,’ said Lynn Nangle, Finance & Operations Manager at St John’s Innovation Centre, who has been leading the project. ‘Our ambition is for the Bistro to become the central meeting point for the whole Innovation Park, with a lively vibe, fresh food with a good price-quality balance, a smart space where Park tenants and visitors can feel at ease.”
To celebrate the opening, the Bistro team has prepared a special menu: expect Little Jack Horner’s gourmet sausage rolls, a perfect comfort food snack and complimentary pudding with your meal. The team looks forward to seeing you on 5th February!
*Refurbishment of the Bistro is part of the extension planned for Spring 2018 at St John’s Innovation Centre, complementing conference and catering facilities at the centre for professional business events in the Cambridge area.
