The fresh site design, complimented by luminous new photography, gives visitors a real feel for the Conference Centre meeting spaces and facilities. A three-year refurbishment project completed in late 2015 has considerably expanded and improved the venue with the addition of a 1600m⊃2; exhibition space, a fully-refurbished 300-seat auditorium, and increased accommodation capacity. The Conference Centre has now resumed hosting large-scale events for local and international biomedical organisations.
Linda Prior, Conference Centre Business Manager, said: “Studio 24 has worked alongside our marketing team to create a website that’s a pleasure to use. Prospective clients will quickly get a feel for the quality of the facilities on offer, and delegates will find all the information they need in preparation for their stay. We are also happy to have introduced an events listing on the site, which we’ve done to further support our clients in their work.”
On the new site visitors can browse images of the nine meeting rooms, comfortable modern accommodation, catering, and beautiful grounds. Conference organisers will find all the information needed to decide whether the venue is right for them: a new room search filters rooms easily by delegate numbers and/or layout, and the enquiries form has been simplified.
Simon Jones, Managing Director of Studio24 said: “The Wellcome Genome Campus Conference Centre is a stunning venue and it’s been fantastic working in partnership with the team to create this user-driven website, which truly reflects the quality of the Centre’s offering.”
The site’s design makes use of a range of engaging and useful content including downloadable brochures, time-lapse photography, 360° panoramas and short films to bring the venue and its idyllic setting and facilities to life.
Since its reopening in 2015 the Conference Centre has seen a 26 per cent rise in bookings, and this new website aims to further increase uptake by their target market, biomedical sector businesses and organisations.
